As well as creating arts and social justice projects in North West England, Idle Women are available to work with your organisation, project or community anywhere in the UK or beyond.

Idle Women regularly receive invitations to teach, mentor or speak about our work at conferences and cultural events, run workshops and give talks. We enjoy spreading the word about Idle Women at events where the themes are sympathetic to our ethos.

Power Tools is available to screen as a full length film at festivals or exhibitions.  It can also be screened at women’s centres, support services, conferences and as part of staff training. It works especially well alongside a programme of DIY workshops for women or as part of  a tool library. Contact us if you would like to arrange a screening or Power Tools workshops.

Idle Women are open to invitations to take up residencies in spaces and places that resonate strongly with our manifesto and working practices. We recently undertook a mini-residency for IKON gallery in Birmingham, working aboard Slow Boat, a floating space for local communities and artists to make and experience art in a creative environment.

With extensive experience of conceiving, producing and facilitating artistic and social justice projects, Idle Women are able to consider commissions that extend, challenge and promote our vision to create spaces for all women to belong.
