Growing

Welcome to Idle Women a place for all women and girls to belong

Idle Women is an arts and social justice project based in, Lancashire, North West England that welcomes all women.

We invite women to join us in creative, purposeful and unexpected projects that work to women’s strengths, encourage new friendships and invite women to develop skills and interests.

We employ female artists, trades women, herbalists, gardeners and other practitioners to facilitate workshops and we also run sessions for women to skill share on a voluntary basis.

Idle Women offer regular opportunities for women to join in by taking part in activities or volunteering all year round. Visit our join in page for information and follow us on social media to stay in touch or to join our Whats App group for regular broadcasts go to our contact page

We also offer a year round programme of activities that we deliver in partnership with specialist service providers – to make sure that women who face the most barriers to keeping involved are at the heart of our projects.
